The original golden skinless southern fried chicken recipe contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives, our poultry has no growth hormones and, we cook in non-trans fat, 100% cholesterol-free soybean oil. Poppy perfected the recipe in 1940 and we continue to honor it’s tried and true wholesome ingredients. We’re so happy that Long Island foodies appreciate our efforts to create the Best Fried Chicken!

Quality and Old Fashioned Cooking Methods!
Our chefs have been trained to cook like Grandma did! For example, our carrots and potatoes are hand-peeled; garlic is oven-roasted for garlic mashed potatoes and garlic mayo; slow-simmered chicken broth is used in our soups and sauces using only the best ingredients, including our grade-A poultry; hand-made pie crust for our chicken pot pies, imported linguine from Italy for our Chicken Francaise, our spices and sauces are all blended using Poppy Zorn’s special recipes.
